about Suzanne Franklin

In the early 90’s when I first started playing L.O.R.D. there was no such thing as an I.G.M. (In Game Module), and that was fine with me.  The challenge was using good sense and wise choices.

Then we were invaded by the I.G.M. and the sharp cookies that push envelopes kept pecking away at them until they found holes in them.  The best of the best that I knew of was Napalm Runner.

I told him if he’d spill his guts I’d make him famous by writing up all about how the I.G.M.s could be cheated by those with the knowledge, and give him the credit for discovery.

I made the file, and I got the notoriety, and Napalm stopped supplying the tips.

People were ready to contribute by the hands full so it was a loss of a friend but not a loss of something that I enjoyed doing.

I enjoyed writing the cheats files, I REALLY enjoyed arguing with the authors, and I enjoyed the notoriety that came with it.
I had so much fun with it that I decided to write a help file on how to play the game L.O.R.D. without the I.G.M.s.

I also wrote a help file on how to play L.O.R.D. Tournament written by Joseph Masters.

After that I withdrew from the BBS world due to bad health. I hope all my creations helped someone in one way or another.

I did enjoy writing them and I am glad to be alive and working with the BBS community again!
